Players who are currently playing under Guest status will receive a TFC Membership Dues Card on which we will record a player’s monthly dues payments. Current members of the Triangle Floorball Club will be phased into the new system after March 31, 2006, when their current membership expires.

*We will generally try to assess the lowest possible membership dues to any person or group.

Players who are absent from the club for more than six months automatically lose their membership standing unless they inform the club before their prolonged absence that they wish to remain a member.

Weekly Venue Fee Structure*

The new Venue Fee Structure will take effect for everyone on Sunday, October 30, 2005.

Venue Fee Categories
1. Student/Non-Wage Earner: $5.00
2. Individual: $10.00
3. Family A (2 people)**: $15.00 ($7.50 each) 4. Family B (3 -5 people)**: $20.00 (An average of $6.67, $5.00 or $4.00 per player depending upon the number of family members present.) *We will generally try to assess the lowest possible fee to any person or group.
**If only one member of a family group is present and s/he is eligible for the Student/Non-Wage Earner rate instead of the Individual rate, the lower rate will be applied.

Venue Fee Facts

- The weekly Venue Fees are separate from the monthly Club Membership Dues.
- The Venue Fees are controlled by the venue. We just collect the Venue Fees from our players on the court and then pay the fee in a lump sum. (Please do not pay at the desk upon entering the venue.)
- We pay $80.00 per hour for Adult floorball and $5.00/person for Junior floorball.
- The Triangle Floorball Club currently subsidizes the Venue Fee for Adult floorball whenever the attendance does not generate the $160.00 needed to cover the two hour fee.
- Venue Fees are subject to change.

Guest Player Policy

A guest to the Triangle Floorball Club does not have to pay any Club Dues or Venue Fee for one month or four visits, whichever comes first. In order to be able to continue playing with the Triangle Floorball Club after the fourth visit or at the end of the one month period, the player will need to become a member of the TFC by paying the monthly Club Dues and weekly Venue Fee.

What Does It All Mean

We are trying to make it easier for students, non-wage earners and families with multiple players to join our club. There are no more distinctions in club membership dues between Juniors and Adults and there are no more Guest Players who have to pay an extra $5.00 Club Fee per visit, in addition to the Venue Fee, after their first four (free) visits. A reduction in fees is also given to individuals who come out on Saturday mornings to help with the Junior group.

Examples of Costs Per Week

Students or Non-Wage Earners (A New Membership Category)
- Now pay a venue fee of $5.00 per visit. Once a month, a player in this category will also have to pay the $5.00 Club Membership dues, for a total of $10.00 on that particular day.

Individual Members
- Still pays the $10.00 Venue Fee each time out but now is able to spread out the $100.00 Club Membership over ten payments of $10.00 in twelve months. Once a month, when the Club Membership is due, an Individual Member pays $20.00 to cover both fees.

- Allows two people (e.g. Husband & Wife or Mom & Daughter) to play and only pay a Venue Fee of $7.50 each, $15.00 for the Family. Once per month, players on Family Plan A also pay their Club Membership Dues of $15.00 for a total of $30.00. Overall, this is a reduction of $50.00/year in Membership Dues and $5.00 total per session in Venue Fees, compared to the old system.

Family Membership B (A New Membership Category)
- Allows families of three to five players to play and only pay a Venue Fee of $20.00 for the group. Depending on the number of players in the family, this comes out to $6.67/player for three, $5.00/player for four and $4.00/player for five. Once per month, players on Family Plan B also pay their Club Membership Dues of $20.00 for a total of $40.00.
